We had the taste of a fries and a hot-dog, a local potato stand. We've been suggested by the billiard bar at the backyard. in a basement of a block apartments. In the view of the restaurant, we were worried. but we've gone over appearances. Wow, a real delight. The best toasted hot dog ever eaten in my life. I'd have taken six! It's worth a detour! I recently had a very disappointing experience with the Asian sesame salad I ordered for takeout. The won tons were forgotten and the overall salad was very plain and boring. I was unable to go back to the restaurant to address the issue in person, so I decided to lodge a complaint online. View all feedback.
Service extraordinaire, bon humor, tres bon. Everything was good. Try the Poutine. Excellent service
We took a hamburger steak and a spaghetti the meat of the hamburger steak of very good qualite to go back to dinner.
Chez Veilleux is a combination of family restaurant, pool hall, and bar. It's smack down in the middle of the downtown area of La Malbaie and is a favorite local hangout. There are a lot of habitués stopping by and not a whole lot of foreigners. Which, come to think of it, is what makes this place special. If you're looking for an authentic eating experience, this has got to be the place to check out.Nothing fancy, nothing special, just tasty comfort food and junk food classics.A few members of the staff working at the nearby hostel recommended that I check it out if I wanted to taste the best poutine in La Malbaie.So I went there and the poutine was indeed quite good. Not sure just how tourist friendly Chez Veilleux is if you don't speak French, but do give it a shot if you want an option better than the McD's.Service was fast and friendly. Exactly what you'd expect from a family restaurant.
Every time we get down to the malbaie, we go to this restaurant to get some burgers, they're too good. to try without fault
Pool lounge on the basement of a housing building located in the centre of the village on the street in front of the church. the classic is in the house fries and in the hamburger (pronounced ommebégeur) watchful. my favorite is nature but the trimmed version exists. the local figures are met, but also the expats that are passing or returning to the sources. A must!
