If you go to the malbaie and you are a cheese lover, don't miss the opportunity to taste cheese in the grain of St-Fidèle cheese. The detour is worth it because, in addition, you will see breathtaking landscapes there. View all feedback.
I stop every time there because their cheese cures make the perfect snack on the way. for a small bag, they can not without them! they offer many homemade and local products, as well as cheese...produced in front of location, but there are the cheese curds that let me come for more and more! I'll be back!
Good place to stop during the trip for some fresh cheese curds or some ice. service is ok, with waitress that is emphasized by the amount. good selection of fresh cheese and homemade ice cream. the prices are fair.
It was quite practical, as this wonderful place is so close to my airbnb. as some critics mentioned, it is not handcrafted cheese place. simply, it is a cheese factory and it produces excellent cheese and butter. especially butter is so delicious and fresh and we have used it a lot to cook. eis is also very creamy and tasty (in contrast to other places where they sell commercial brands of eis). I had no chance to try soft ice as I don't know how to order in French.
We heard about this place from the visitor center and decided to check it out. Upon visiting, we discovered that it was more of a factory for commercial cheese production rather than a traditional artisan cheese shop. The facility was very clean and we were able to watch the process through a glass wall. The cheese was of good quality and we enjoyed a delicious serving of soft ice cream.
Whenever we are in the area, we make sure to stop by this restaurant for some delicious cheese and pate. The cheese is made on site, ensuring it is always fresh and tasty. They also offer a variety of other local items, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
