Chez Truchon - La Malbaie

In this restaurant the quality is home! we dined divinely with dishes that combined the territory with the search for the goto! excellent both the fish of the day and the meat (gotosa.)! sweets also very good. the wine card with a wide choice! I recommend it to try the culinary excellence of the charlevoix!

Located rich street peaked, in a large bourgeois house typical of this region of quebec; chic bistro with taste, in respect of the places. casual and professional service, friendly. excellent food ( especially tasty beef cheeks ) . Wine map developed but few choices under the $50. the first wine was corked , which caused no replacement problems . a fix , the parking that is limited and there is not much room in the street .

I struggled a bit to choose what to eat because in this restaurant there are different meat dishes. I was able to order the fish of the day, a cod, served on a bed of ratatouille. . .very well presented and delicate goto. to finish, a tarts with delicious berries. if you want to get typical dishes of the charlevoix area without sacrificing quality, this is the place for you!

Go back! share! to taste ... this is the best table I found this year! Very good atmosphere!

A relaxed atmosphere, great service and wonderful local food make this a dining experience not to be missed! We would very happily go back there.
