La Cantina - la Jonquera

Volver a Cantina después de 3 años de ausencia causa Covid. Nos decepcionó el cambio de marco. Este ya no es el lugar acogedor bajo el gran árbol de castañas para excursionistas o reunión familiar, sino un restaurante clásico. Sin menús, sólo en el mapa. Tomamos un plato de charcutería catalana y gran decepción ante el precio, sin jamón, sin Chorizo, pero del boudin y salchicha No volveremos allí. En el futuro, siendo excursionistas, tomaremos nuestro picnic y disfrutaremos de este hermoso paisaje frente al castillo de Resquesens.

La Cantina is the rural restaurant located in the Can Seferino hotel, a rural hotel in the province of Girona, in Catalonia. I stayed in the hotel and I go to the restaurant to breakfast and lunch. I ate to breakfast a selection of cured sausages and a red wine called Oriol dels Aspres , which were excellent. Also I ate a green salad and lamb chops with chips, which are only good. The best place to go to breakfast or lunch (it is not possible ot go to dinner, because it is closed at night), if you stay in the rural house.
