Vigilucci's Seafood, Steak Chophouse

We decided to try Vigilucci's during restaurant week, a great opportunity to sample pricier venues. Like many establishments in downtown La Jolla, Vigilucci's boasts a stylish and spacious setting. Upon arriving at our table, we were pleasantly surprised by the presence of live music, which added a lovely touch, especially considering the amount we planned to spend. The waitstaff were attentive and friendly, adding to the positive atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the portions were quite generous. However, I found the three-course meal offered during restaurant week to have relatively modest portions. I’m always open to being pleasantly surprised when it comes to dining reviews. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, albeit on the expensive side, with their restaurant week menu priced at $40. I probably wouldn’t choose to dine here regularly due to the cost, but if you're seeking an elegant meal or have a generous budget, Vigilucci's is an excellent choice.
