Pizza Hut - La Jolla

I stopped by to place a last-minute order while visiting family. The service was quick and the checkout experience was friendly. I’d definitely recommend this place. *Update from a later visit* I'm not sure what changed, but this time the pizza was even better. The sauce had more flavor, and my pizza was piping hot when I picked it up—so hot, in fact, that I almost burned my hand on the box! I’m really pleased with the quality of the pizza from this Pizza Hut location!

I decided to place my order at full price, then stepped outside for a quick phone call to avoid disturbing others. After all, no one enjoys overhearing one-sided conversations, even if they know I'm on the phone. However, it seems I was out longer than I anticipated, as the person who took my order ended up coming out to check on me. Guillermo, the staff member, was very attentive, and I appreciated his excellent customer service.

The food and service exceeded my expectations. My previous experiences with pizza chain restaurants had led me to think they were often rough and greasy. However, I decided to give it another chance because of a discount code, and I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was not only tasty but also a great value and definitely not greasy. There was a gentleman at the Carry-Out counter who had glasses and long hair, and he was extremely polite. I really wish I had gotten his name because I would have liked to inform his manager about how impressed we were with his service.
