Los Primos Mexican Food - La Jolla

Generous portions! I ordered the carne asada quesadilla and it was quite large. The flavor was good, but it consisted mainly of tortilla, cheese, and carne. It could have used some pico de gallo or something to balance out the meatiness. Overall, it was above average. The nachos were decent as well.

I was initially taken aback by the prices, but the quality and portion sizes of the food exceeded my expectations. I ordered the fish taco plate, a bean and cheese burrito, a side of guacamole, and some fries. Let me tell you, I was completely stuffed! The fish tacos were generous in size, crispy, and loaded with cilantro, tomatoes, and cabbage, all drizzled with a creamy sauce. The bean and cheese burrito was wrapped in a delicious, warm flour tortilla and filled with gooey melted cheese. I will definitely be returning, though I might need to order a little less next time, haha!

Avoid this taco shop at all costs! I tried the Adobada plate and it was amazing. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. The refried beans and rice complemented the dish wonderfully. My husband ordered the sopas and they were cooked just right—neither too greasy nor overly crispy. The staff was friendly as well. Thank you, Chuy's Tacos!

Hands down, this must be one of the best Taco shops in San Diego! I had many tacos, but Chuys beats them all even hits some tacos of TJ! What I love most is that their food is not only delicious, but also they use high quality meat, not saturated in fat and their portions are generous! I always get their pollen asado taco! It is filled with chicken and guacamole! The chicken always falls out and I have to finish my taco with a fork! It can't boast many places. SERIOUSLY THERES MEAT THAN TORTILLAS REAL ESTATE. The reception ladies are always beautiful! Once I lost my favorite metal tumbler and I called the morning shift grand, which kept it safe for me and I took it from the night shift hall, which is incredible communication! The only thing I would recommend is that I believe that the lobby could be used more efficiently! For the space he has, the river simply doesn't make much sense. Some Mexican feng shui would make this place unstoppable and flatten the competition!

The best of all Mexican shops ever. 10x better than Sombrero Shops as they have less smaller portions. As for chuys has way more of portion..... I can't even finish my Supreme fires and tons of meat! Update: I still come here when I am in the area. My only Mexican shop I come to when craving for it badly. The rating still remains
