This is indeed a quaint stop, but one you should definitely try! I stopped by on a solo morning excursion while the rest of my group was recuperating from the night before (two words: bachelorette party). It was a nice walk to get here and the coffee was fantastic! Also, I was so surprised to be gifted a free mug! The service here was great, the coffee was superb, and I loved the close proximity to Crown Point Beach... View all feedback.
Great local spot for coffee and breakfast or lunch.
I understand this place is highly rated, but that was not my experience. i arrived and ordered 2 bacon egg and cheese sandwiches and 2 coffees, 1 regular and 1 mocha. i was parked in 1st spot in front of the ordering window. after i paid and was instructed to leave a tip on the tablet (with 18% being the lowest suggested tip) i left my 18% tip and let the order taker know that i would be seated in the car right there in front (because there were no seats that i could see to wait). after waiting for quite a while, i went to ask about my food and coffee and found they were sitting at a window around the corner, out of sight, with my name on the bag. i picked up my food and coffee which were now cold. not sure why they thought i was letting them know where i would be if they weren't planning on telling me my order was ready? also not sure what my tip was for? as for the food, it was just ok. maybe sub-par. the bacon egg and cheese had some type of weird margarine sauce spread that was ALL pepper. the eggs had more pepper in them. it tasted like a pepper shaker. the bagel and bacon were ok. the regular coffee tasted like hazlenut. not sure if they put in the wrong creamer or didn't wash the carafe, but it was weird to taste hazlenut when you're expecting regular. the mocha was also just ok. it was a little gritty. like not mixed well or something. the regular cup also was leaking. so overall, for $36 i got 2 sandwiches that were mostly pepper, and 2 coffees that tasted a little off, one in a leaking cup. it would of been nice if there was at least a smile or a thank you. maybe i caught everyone on an off day, but i was expecting a little better.
I was on my way to mission beach when I found this place. Initially I thought it was gone as there was a sign on the door mentioning the closing of the business but realized it was the one next door! Seems a lot of people were getting this confused while there. There is a small parking area but plenty of parking on the street. This place is a must go to! They have an ever expanding menu of food options including pastries and sandwiches. Their drinks are also super delicious and not overly sweet. I ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte with almond milk and a banana blueberry walnut muffin. The latte was delicious: just the right amount of spice/sweetness, smooth espresso and a great authentic taste. The muffin was also lovely: good balance of walnuts, blueberries and banana. The staff here are super friendly and the service was fast. You can’t miss this place as it is right on the main road. Definitely recommend!
I went with my beautiful lady on Saturday and got the Pitaya Bowl and Funky Monkey smoothie with vegan protein and it was the best! I never had a better smoothie and the bowl was incredible!
We go almost every day along the bay to Crown Point Coffee! Great coffee, food, atmosphere and the workers are the best! Great place to work or stop a quick coffee on the way as tourists and enjoy the vibe.
