Stopped for lunch..bbq pork fried rice, chicken wing and bbq pork were pretty good. the egg foo young was bland and strength and a roll was simple, so will not get this again. the others will try because the price is at this point. Only CASH — so be ready. faster service.

Food is great. Only cash. Walk weekdays to lunch and just get the #1. Happy belly, happy life

Cheap, fast and delicious!! Your portion size is very fillable. It is good enough for two people or for two meals. They only accept cash so they are ready to take that. Currently only takeout and some outdoor seating. We have the combo 1 with fried rice, BBQ pork pieces, 2 chicken wings and 2 fried gulls. The fried rice is really good, but the pig is AMAZING. I don't even like pork so much, but I swallowed all the pieces pretty well. They're brilliant. They give soy sauce that can add more taste to the rice if that is what you like, I did both and actually liked the rice OHNE the soy sauce. The chicken wings were ok and very salty. The fried would-be were a bit confusing, but decent. Will be back here to try more of their food.

Mom was a real critic about Restaurant Essen and she loved this place. I can see why. BBQ pork seems to be her signature court. Try it.

Best bang for your buck when it comes to budget friendly Chinese food! The BBQ pork is on point too!
