We were here last in Feb. 2021 and had visited before that. We were alarmed that the beach is gone! You used to be able to walk miles in both directions, but that is now impossible due to erosion. If that isn't important to you, this is a fine property, but without pricey transportation you are basically locked into this spot. View all feedback.

We spent a week at the Westin in San José Del Cabo and had an amazing time here. Every single staff member that we interacted with were always friendly and very helpful. You really do feel the love from the staff on this property. We stayed in the Villas on the Baja Point side and loved the walk to the other side of the property for restaurants, activities, and other pools on the property. The pool on the Baja Point side was very quiet and our 5 year old loved the kiddie area as well. Our daughter loved the kids club and kept asking about staying all day because she loved it so much. The staff working with the children were so good with the kiddos and they had fun activities for the kids including at the pool. We also appreciated having a really good workout studio on the side of the property. While we only ate at one restaurant on the property (Cantina Sports Bar), there are other options on the property. We chose to explore both San José del Cabo and Cabo to eat food. Both cities are within driving distance and we enjoyed being able to do so in our rental car. Todos Santos is also a must see and is about an hour away. Finally, we stayed an extra night due to our flight being cancelled due to Hurricane Norma. While being stuck in our villa due to the hurricane on Saturday, we were pleasantly surprised to find a knock on the door with dinner for our family from the great staff here at the Westin such a pleasant surprise. If you enjoy a family friendly atmosphere and/or a quiet classy property, I highly recommend the Westin. If you want to be closer to either San José del Cabo or Cabo San Lucas due to not having a rental car or not wanting to take longer than 15 minutes drives to either place, you might want to stay closer. Bottom line, the Westin is a beautiful property right on the beach that is quiet and also kid friendly. There are plenty of adult only pools. More importantly, the staff here is top of the line and very appreciated. O Even the fitness instructor was amazing!
Everything was wonder. Guy came to check the TV, was to return with batteries for remote, but never came back. Otherwise was very beautiful, peaceful, relaxing. Looking forward to next visit. Can't wait to tell friends.
Beautiful sunsets and negative edge pools set a gorgeous backdrop to the gorgeous coastline. High up on the cliffs. This feels like $1000 a night Southern California resort. I think the views here are better than Laguna Niguel Ritz Carlton.
