Mulberry Project Pop-Up

We stopped by Mulberry Project twice during our stay in Tulum Beach. The first time we had Elliott as our bartender, who did a wonderful job making a spicy orange habanero margarita and explaining the backstory of Mulberry Project to us. I love the concept of being able to choose your own flavors and base liquor, and the mixologists finish it up with their own expert touches and fun garnishes. Our second visit was when we checked into La Zebra (the neighboring boutique hotel) and Fernanda made an incredible cocktail that was a mix of avocado, pineapple, jalapeño, and cilantro. It seemed like an interesting combination at the time but I cannot recommend enough one of the best things I tried while in Tulum! Make sure to stop by if you are in the area!

The best cocktail bar in Mexico, what more is there to say? Whenever I’m in Tulum I spend more time here than at my own hotel, the vibe is unlike any other place I’ve been. Every single drink I’ve had here is incredible and no two are alike. The bartenders are exceptionally talented and make you feel like they’ve welcomed you into their own backyard. Special should out to Elliott and Alex for always looking out for me and my friends. If you don’t make time for at least one drink here, you’re missing out on the best part of Tulum.

This place is the reason I booked my trip at the Alaya, which is right next to La Zebra and the Mulberry Project bar. They don’t have a cocktail menu, just a list of fresh ingredients and drink styles. The bartenders will take it from there and make you the most amazing drinks you’ve ever had. Speaking of which, Eliot and Fernanda treated my girlfriend and I like family from the minute we sat down. We were only at the resort for a few days but it felt like we knew them for years by the time we left. I can’t say enough good things about this bar and the staff. It isn’t just a place to get a good drink, it’s a place to make great friends and memories. If you are in Tulum, this is a must visit and I can’t wait to come back.

Amazing concept and cocktails. I sat at the bar, and Megan and Adam were so lovely to chat with. Their cocktails were to die for. I’d highly recommend it!

Amazing hospitality and drinks, if you come by and Fer is here you should definitely have a tiki drink or any kind of drink honestly, awesome bartender!
