after wandering on Saturday night in the car without any table to welcome us we arrive in this charming hostel in the style certainly old but very warm, lost on the edge of the departmental, it deserves the detour with a delicious and very affordable table the poached foie gras and the holy jacco shells were delicious, the welcome if it may seem a little cold at first glance shows itself very smiling and good child View all feedback.
What Vincent Normand doesn't like about Auberge d'Andaines:
Classic card horriblle service, it's just if you're asked if it's been. The presentation is more than classic, but the ingredients seem fresh. Do a few kilometers and eat on cars. I forgot the scenery just envied to leave very quickly. View all feedback.
The quality of the meal that has been served has no major criticism to have, but in the image of the previous opinion, stained table, spider canvas in the restaurant room and lack of heating. A guest house usually offers better service.
Until now the French lodges had never disappointed me but there! proposal at 20€ veal head dessert: little ravigot sauce and a dessert that could have been good (apple rate)Cheached table, cup of coffee and long service while we were only 3 on 2 tables
Old stone house on the edge of the road ( garden in which one can eat on the other side)Decorate a little old. the adhesive catchers on the fireplace do not put in appetite. The room would need a little refreshment. good cocktail based on local specialties. Paid shower....Restricted map of fresh homemade products. honest bucket head grandmother (smooth bread pudding) as at home. all for 24 € in the formula "autour d'un plat". a little expensive with the label "logis de france", I expected better.
After half a day at the car boot we stopped by chance in this hostel. Even if the decor is old the service is good and the food good. unpretentious, homemade and fresh dishes: veal head with a very good gribiche sauce, really homemade fruit salad and delicious grandmother's cake. also a delicious melon sorbet. we recommend this inn and we would like to be able to find others as good on the side of the road on long journey!
