Found this place just by chance. Had a craving for Ajiaco and a glass of wine. Hit the spot. Ajiaco was perfect, the service was great and the ambiance very enjoyable View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Altillo Del Sol Cafe:
Placed for 5 of us; after 45 minutes waiting time we asked what the delay was with our food and drinks. As it turned out, the order was never put through the kitchen. After talking to the waiter, they ignored us. No manager... on site to treat with our case 1 hour wait for our order. Fortunately, the area is filled with many options for breakfast You the bad service View all feedback.

The place has a cool design. We went in for snack. The servers were friendly, but it took a long time until somebody took our order it wasn't even busy. The sandwich my husband ordered was average could have gotten that anywhere else...in this world. Coffee was average. My Torta de Arequipe? Well, I didn't get it. Since we did not have time anymore I did not bother to ask for it. But surprise.... it was on the bill. Should have gone for the street food at the market!
This hidden little cafe is a very nice option if you want to relax and have a cup of coffee (or a hot Milo) after walking around Usaquén. Even for regular residents of the area, it is a good place to sit down and chat...with friends.
