Cafe 18 - La Dorada

We stayed in a nearby hotel that didn't include breakfast, so we stopped at Cafe 18. It was excellent! We have the combo eggs, juice, hot drink and bread. We liked it so much that we can go back to breakfast for two more days. Great staff, great coffee and hot chocolate.

We didn't cost her coffee, but we ate food from her menu. It was a quarantine and we couldn't sit inside. We have our food to go. The food portions were small, but the food was fresh and very tasty.

Unfortunately, we had a very bad customer service experience. Cafe18 was one of our first stops after arriving in Bogota from the United States. His reputation for high-quality coffee brought us in. However, after we told the server that our phone service did not allow us to connect to the menu via the QR code, he told us rudely that we were the only ones with this problem. That was our point, but he did not seem to care how he continued to help several other customers before us, before finally our order verbally without the help of the menu. We told him that we noticed how he helped others before us who came in after us, and that made him worse and he told us that we were difficult and that he didn't want to serve us, and then he went away. We were left without choice and had to leave. I would definitely have liked to enjoy Cafe18 coffee and bought some beans coffee to share with friends at home.

Café 18 es un gran sitio en el Chicó, un sitio tranquilo, bien atendido, excelentes productos y cafés especiales muy bien preparados por baristas expertos.

De varios cafés que comienza uno a ver en la ciudad, éste sin duda se destaca, no sólo por la calidad de lo que ofrecen sino por una atención sin igual. Se nota el compromiso, el amor y la pertenencia de quienes trabajan allá. Muchas gracias al barista Marlon que verdaderamente se tomó el tiempo para explicar y asegurarse que nuestra experiencia fuera la mejor.
