Even if this place is often sown as breakfast / brunch/lunch place, the food is just as good for dinner. I have the toast with avocado and fresh and smoked salmon and the fruit bowl with Greek yogurt and granola. Both were delicious, and portion size is good (not too much, not too little). What Sara Geiser doesn't like about Al Agua Patos:
I went with a friend who loves this place. It was nice, but very unexciting. The dishes are all 50% bread and then some ingredients, which I know is the concept, but it just wasn't as exciting or tasty as I expected from the descriptions. Plenty of other better options around. View all feedback.
Great, tasty food with lots of variety of toasts, healthy granola bowls etc. You also have a children's menu. Amazing atmosphere. Cheap prices compared to Chile and Peru. Very popular with locals, so you can expect a weekend or a public holiday. Very good.

Personally, I like the idea as tables are quite close to each other. Beautiful, extensive menu and will be back!
Good prices, Excellent customer attention, nice place to have good time with friends or family. is pet friendly
Our server was very friendly although our Spanish is not very good! The Huevos with bacon ham over a large piece of bread was delicious! The Coffe Latte with fresh fruit has paired well!
Everyone, if you're looking for that special place that reminds you of grandma's kitchen, mom's special touch and the best home cooked meal, look no further. Al Agua Patos is the place. Highly recommended by friends, we joined them for dinner a couple of days ago. OMG, best suggestion in a long time! We liked it already before we had even set foot in it, from across the street. Awesome set up, great ambiance and creative decor. We were welcomed by an attentive server who showed us to the table we had been allowed to choose, next to the window in one of the covered sunrooms. Our server was great! He was obviously gungho about the place and food he serves, and talked with great knowledge and passion about most of the items on the menu. Judging by his degree of enthusiasm, any selection would have been a winner. It was 6 of us, so he appropriately called a second server so as to keep us well tended to. After getting very helpful answers to all our questions and listening to his suggestions, we ordered our food. Drinks were brought rather quickly and and while waiting for our dinners, those helping our server made sure our glasses always had water. We all got delicious home mad fruit juices, from mango to mandarines orange lulo and lemonade, they were all delicious. Even though it was a busy night, the food came after approximately 30 minutes, not bad. And what a pleasant surprise when the food came to the table. One of the things that struck me was how creative they are with the presentation of their food. We learned that they call all breads "patos", they bake their own artesanal breads inhouse, wonderful selections, which by the way, you can also take home either full or half loaves. All sandwiches are open face and the toppings selections are quite varied. Awesome sauces, from homemade mushroom ragoo to poached eggs almandine, to salmon with cheddar and spinach, and stroganoff and pepper steaks served shredded. Did I mention "creative"? I ordered the Patito Estrellado, which comes with poached eggs over a bed of home made shoestring potatoes, Black Forest ham and mushroom aioli. Even though it's supposed to be a half sandwich, it was large enough and filling. I accompanied that with a wonderful bowl of Caserita Italiana soup, their awesome version of a hearty minestrone without tomatoes. Spectacular! One of my friends had the Caserita de Le tejas, a delightful and tasty lentil soup. Another winner was my husband's Necio sandwich: an open face sandwich served with cheddar cheese, crunchy bacon, poached eggs, and a delicious sauce. I could go on for ever writing wonderful things about this place, but I'd rather let you discover it yourself. I highly recommend it. Enjoy it! We are told that their Sunday brunch is amazing. Go early because the lines for brunch on Sunday are super long.
