Café De Playa Beach Front And Suites

THIS place is THE best!!! The view, the food, the vibe, the margaritas, the staff, the owner Carlos, all were amazing! My favorite place in Playa del Coco. Michele, the event planner, was the most professional hostess who knows where to go for any adventure. I will be back!

We stumbled across this amazing restaurant while walking the beach one morning. Away form the busy main street, the location was absolutely perfect. On top of that, we had lunch and dinner and they were both delicious. Our favorite waiter was Niko and he was one of the main reasons we kept coming back. I highly recommend this place for the view, the food and the staff! Pura Vida and we will be back!

We were happy with our room, and the magnificent view from the beach hammocks- but this review is for the excellent service of Jenifer in the restaurant, as well as the AMAZING tuna, and the lava cake. Exceptional food everywhere. Loved the well-designed beach cat. The entire restaurant crew was wonderful, but Jenifer really (and Bib) went beyond and beyond.

*No hotel rating* we went from the beach and thought for a few drinks to watch the waves in the near silence. Nobody's trying to sell us something with loud bar music. Very quiet! Pina colada was too sweet to drink, but they did not stop charging us!

Our group enjoyed the food and drinks. Beautiful presentation of food on the beach with beautiful lights and the waves gently crash. The staff was friendly and had good reviews like the Hibiscus cocktail. Most of us ordered the filled Mahi Mahi (blue plate), and it was amazing. The catch of the day was fresh, but not remarkable. Excellent experience.
