The Root Note in La Crosse presents a charming atmosphere, known for its exceptional coffee and aesthetically pleasing decor. Guests rave about the delicious black bean chili and a variety of unique beverages, though opinions on the food options vary widely. Despite once being a haven for vegan diners, recent changes to the menu have disappointed many, now offering limited vegan choices. While some visitors appreciate the accommodating staff and the cafe’s commitment to sustainability, others express frustration over the service speed and diminished plant-based selections. Overall, it remains a popular spot, albeit with evolving culinary options.

I stopped here twice on my visit to la crosse. the first time I had an amazing black bean chili. for the second time, to honor the catastrophic summit of helsinki, I had her cremilin crepe. they have a special dough for vegan crepes and added more sweet instead of egg and cheese. I'm not sure why there were so many negative reviews. this place is excellent. I will come back in definitiw.

I visited a friend in lacrosse and was excited to see that there were some vegan options in the city. Unfortunately, apart from their chili, they do not offer vegan options. each crepe had either egg, milk or ice and milk on it. I asked if they were vegan cheese and they did not have this option there is literally an eating coop down the street that Daiya vegan cheese sold. I could have ordered a cream without milk and ice, but it would have been a torn. next time we choose another option.

While the menu has changed since my first visit, root note is still a great place in la crosse. they no longer list vegan articles on their chalkboard, but after I was asked that they still offered this article. the vegan crepes are great and definitely worth a review.

I recently visited a 5-star coffee shop and had an Americano while my date enjoyed a Mocha-Breve. The atmosphere had a hipster vibe. Although it took a bit long to place our order, we enjoyed the experience.

The food at this restaurant was both fresh and flavorful. While the kitchen may not be quick, the food is clearly prepared with care. I arrived at noon and was promptly seated, which was a positive experience.
