The best place for tofu soup and single dish korean food. (Not ayce) Good corean short ribs. The interior must be updated (and fixed) Overall, really good tofu soup and dishes. They don't have a huge menu, but what they do is done very well. This is probably my favorite place to get tofu soup. View all feedback.
This place is the hands down the best for tofu soup (this is all I command). I was here three times and the staff is the best. The waitresses are the kindest and happiest I had at ANY Restaurant and especially in a Korean restaurant. When a white girl was obsessed and grew up on Korean food I had many bad experiences. Korean waiters are usually not customer service oriented and what seems to be rude to me. Even my friend was so happy with this place, because tonight we showed 15 minutes before the end that we had more than one hour and fortunately they set us up and told us 'no hurry' and take our time '. We stayed past the closure and the waitress was so sweet that she even brought us the mini-soft napkins. I wish I had their name, but from every experience they are all so happy and sweet. I love this place and they have the best costume service I had. The food is also delicious. The Tofu soup is my favorite! Hopefully, my long review will encourage everyone to go.

Went to Tofu love with my dad for lunch. It was quite empty, which did not seem like a good sign, but as a restaurant in a not so central location, that is understandable. We didn't know how big the portions would be, so we ordered the seafood pancake (which is huge), squid bibimbap and mixed soondubu jjigae. We thought that 3 articles would be an appropriate amount of food for us two, but it ended up feeding three more adults at home with remains. Not only are the portions huge, but you are also served Banchan (small appetizers) with any order. These contain kimchi that you can say is homemade, japchae (glass noodles), fermented tofu and green beans, broccoli, marinated tofu, roasted dumplings, a potatomaic and marinated mung beans. Everything was very tasteful and fresh, but my absolute favorite was the Bibimbap because of the crust the rice forms on the bottom of the hot stone bowl. Amazing! Food was incredible, service was great and the owner was so nice. Great people, great food. Come on!
When I lived in Pasadena, we drove to K or San Gabriel to eat something like that. No more, I live in about 10 minutes from Tofu Love and I love it! They give unlimited banana (Korean side dishes) and delicious stone cooked rice!
I love BCD, but I've always disliked going to LA to satisfy my cravings. As a long time resident of LA Crescenta/La Canada, this place is a dream come true. My entire family and I agree that Tofu Love has really great tasting food across their entire menu. They also aren't as stingy with their Galbi as BCD. Highly recommend this place if you want a less crazy/quieter dining experience.
