August 2020, it is very hot in la ciotat. we walk along the old harbour and look for a shaved place for a drink. we sit under a tree in bar/restaurant le continental. we ordered two "big black" coffee and had a pretty interesting conversation with the waiter about what we wanted. it seemed that in France a large black coffee is named differently. in the following week we only had to make one gesture for our coffee. later in the evening, a pastis was not measured, but poured directly into the glass. if they order an egg, intentionally! the amount of ice and whipped cream will surprise them to sensible trips. also the dimensions of the burger are not average. friendly people, time for a chat and a sweat. toilet ok. relaxed atmosphere. good view of passing people.

Only visited for drinks and found the personal very pleasant. the prices for beer lay on the same level as the london prices, but a beautiful view of the marina.
We were nice on the terrace and served quickly. the beer was a saint olmer, really refreshing. However, we were really disgusted by the toilets that had no conductive water to clean our hands and looked like it had not been cleaned since the 70s. the decoration of the bar also confirmed my supposition. Don't go!
The service is correct perhaps the formulas of politeness to review. The location is top facing the port, however furniture is old as the world and worn. average
