Have been bringing our grandkids here for about 2.5 years. They are now 3.5 and 1.25 years old: Happy grandkids=>happy grandparents!! They each LOVE the Quiche Lorraine (with fruit salad). I often get the tuna sandwich, but today got the chipotle chicken which was very tasty...with a mighty kick! My wife has been getting a bagel.....and hot chocolate, which she just adores! Went here with my kids. When you go in it is extremely quiet. Signs say please wait to be seated. It also says welcome we are open. We waited patiently for a few minutes. No one greeted us. People were just staring at us. Then we just walked all the way to the back since we saw employees just standing around talking. Then one of the workers asked if we were taking food to go. The food is very good!!!Great roast beef sandwich. High quality meat and had horseradish in it yummmy!

Very cozy, neighborhood cafe, with a nice touch of a children's bookstore incorporated inside (although we almost always eat in the patio; the kids love to watch the koi fish while waiting for our order).
My 4th time at Penelope's! It has become a haunt for myself and my sisters.Cozy, eclectic atmosphere, amazing service, delicious salads and very fair prices!Highly recommend!
My first time at the cafe. What a wonderful place! Great food and fantastic seating area outdoor. Parking: Shared parking is behind the restaurant.
