My wife and I went to La Table De Mathieu for New Year’s Eve dinner and left after after two hours. For 60 Euro/person we expected a decent evening of food, atmosphere and wine. Here’s what we got instead: unprofessional staff, mismatched table ware, deathly quiet atmosphere, flimsy table, and uncooked foie gras. We left after explaining our disappointment, paid for half of the meal (which is more than we had), and did not receive an apology. Pass.

At the beginning, a box offered so by mentioning it, and despite this a pleasant welcome (which is not the case in many partner establishments of these offers... so happy with this stay that we spent an extra night and took our evening meal there again. We are already planning to return to this hotel for another stay. It is true that it is Vieillot but it is precisely what personalizes it and makes its charm. The impeccable lineage, idem cleanliness and we had to book the SPA where there is nothing to say negative. For those who criticize the dress of the staff, I prefer a normal fit and suitable for an unpleasant person in a tie suit.
