Best tempura in kyoto, probably all japan! small restaurant, but perfect taste and service. must visit in kyoto

The restaurant has very good. The food was delicious and the staff were very polite and friendly. The price was good and I felt very satisfied. For my appetite the 20 pieces plate was the right choice.

This is such a great little family restaurant. We found it because it was just down the road from the hotel and it always looked like it was really busy. We went there for dinner and instead of choosing a set menu we chose individual items and made a mixture of both tempura dishes as well as sashimi. It was so interesting watching the owner who was the chef. The care and attention he gave to everything that he was doing. You could tell that even after all the years of running this place he took real pride in his restaurant and food. Service was excellent and the sake portions were excellent. Really enjoyable evening and well worth visiting.

Taste is very yummy, I can feel home while eating... it's made with details by humble chef, crew is very patient on introducing how is the right way of eating tempura

This place offers a superb tempura, made by Arima, a very nice man who owns the restaurant. It's very small but food is really good. It's a bit expensive, but worth every yen.
