Shinogu - Kyoto

Although I stopped by Butanchu before, I went after her test. This area is famous for a ton of other main shops and amazing shops and Butanchu is no exception. Their great variety of selenium choices and customizable broth and toppings are amazing... every time I stopped from one of their shops, it was delicious. Instead of the Bakusho crazy mountain of the temples I ordered last time, I went with her popular Doko Tonkotsu wheels with Dragon Noodles, thick broth, more pork fat and more garlic... all for 830 ¥. The price, value and part were absolutely perfect. This soft chashu and thick, fat broth were incredible. It's worth coming back here.

Very nice super shop! Foriegn Friendly with English. Ask Dominca (I think I have blown her name right? If not Sorry lol she was super helpful with Ramen recommendations translation. CHEAP Delicious with also free noodle refill (Nice Bonus!).

Great ramen place with an incredible choice of different noodle types. I believe in total there are about 8-10 different noodle types one can choose from. (I recommend the chilli ones! And it gets even better because the noodle refills are free. So go ahead and tryout all the noodles you want. Just be careful not to finish your broth ; Really a nice experience and super tasty!

Pork ramen with unlimited noodle refills! One of my favourites of the area. Can choose among 8 different kinds of noodles, all tasty and well cooked. They also have self service pickled food and spicy peppers (Japanese grade). All of this for just 830yen: perfect place if you're hungry!!

Been here before and after the renewal and the taste is similar! Its a thick broth and it tastes good! The noodles can be chosen between thin and curly noodles. We chose the curly ones and it was good! The char-siu is the highlight of the meal! Free-flow of toppings at the side is also a plus.
