Kasumi Izakaya+ - Kyoto

A sweet restaurant upstairs. We believe they gave us a tourist menu that had only 3 food items on it. I wish there were more things because the food was the bomb puppet! A guy on the back cook delicious steak and juicy tone catsu! This place is a sweet little spot with a price point that is hard to beat!

We stumbled in this place and took a chance, so glad we did. The place lies on a narrow flight of stairs and has an extremely cozy atmosphere. We ordered the Kyoto-style meal for 1250 yen each, consisting of about 10 different small dishes. Not very experienced in Japanese cuisine, many of the dishes were a guessing game for me, but the great majority I found to be very tasty. If you are in the area, this place is a must for lunch or dinner.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday, got the Kyoto set for 1250, it comes with unlimited ice coffee, orange juice, apple juice and water! Such excellent value for money, got so many small dishes of the Kyoto cuisine to taste and I loved how the majority of it was vegetarian. Excellent place would highly recommend.

This place is cute. Food is decent, atmosphere is amazing. To call over someone to take your order, just ring the little bell. To pay, hit the bell by the register. As someone else commented, great for a date spot. My wife and I thought the place was adorable with all the little cat fixtures and use of bells.
