Great that they have an English menu. The pork was very crispy outside but even the most expensive cuts were tough on the inside. Hope to fine a better quality meat. The staff was very friendly but even as I write this all my glasses remain empty ... would kill for some water or an offer of more tea. View all feedback.
Food is Ok, but we only ordered one 200g pork cutlet but the waitress ended up bringing one 200g and one 160g without letting us know before hand. She explained that one person must have one order, but this is after the meal is served without any communication before hand. If this has been communicated we would have ordered two 120g as we have already had lunch. Quite disappointed about the service . It’s ok to require one person must order one meal but this needs to be communicated properly instead of forcing the customer to accept two sets when only one was ordered.
We found this restaurant a couple of years ago by coincidence and fortunately we found it again. really tasty tonkatsu in various settings and besides dishes. also expensive. for some sets they pay only 1000-1500 yen and get them some rice, cauliflower (with free refill) and suppe with. the suppe was not on my personal lust, so I wish there were some options to choose. but only a few small critics. the rest was truly 5 stars worthy.
Waited in line for a table here at dinner. There 's pictures and it was easy for foreigners. The tonkatsu was very crispy! The katsudon was okay. The green tea that they served here was really nice! It gave my group the caffeine we needed to survive the night. If you are running low on tea/water or want to order more try using the phrase sumimasen which means excuse me. That will get the server 's attention.
