We absolutely di... read more My fiancé and I dined here after reading up on the history of Italian cuisine in Japan, and we decided we needed to try Itameshi for ourselves. We absolutely did not regret it! We had items off of their seasonal menu, and they were absolutely delicious! The chef really outdid herself in flavor. The cocktail (the “PTT” was very refreshing after a day exploring Kyoto. I know you likely are not coming to Japan for Italian food, but the history of it coming to and mixing with Japanese culture is extremely fascinating, so I would suggest adding it, and Datten, to your Kyoto plans!
