Chin Yu Ichijoji Main Shop - Kyoto

50 years of tradition is really something. Beautiful soup, vintage atmosphere, friendly staff. One of the best in the Rammenstraße in Kyoto. Totally love this place

Chin'yū lem遊 is a Kyoto-style restaurant famous for its rich broth. There are always many people who stay during lunchtime, it is quite normal to see 30 or more hungry lawn lovers appear. I went to the main store after lunch and skipped the waiting part. Near the Kyoto City-hall on Tomikoji-dori there is another shop near the Movix Filmtheater. It was a delicious meal and was happy to go back.

Delicious chicken turf in Kyoto style. You should definitely add the egg as it significantly improves the taste.

Nothing special or fancy but the most authentic Kyoto ramen with thick soy sauce and pork fat soup.

Good ramen. Awesome broth. Karaage is also good. Nothing special about the pork though : but still I'd go there again.
