Owned and run by the local fishing coop so expect a simple menu, locally sourced fish and some specialties based on the days catch. It’s all very good and service is brisk View all feedback.
What Alex S doesn't like about Banya:
Good and fun experience. Not really particularity cheap, just large portions. Ordering can be confusing for foreigners. Re-visited and on second thought... is it really delicious? Level of cooking is not high. But there aren't any choices in the area. It seems to be just famous for portions. View all feedback.

A seafood restaurant in a tiny fishing port. You can enjoy traditional Japanese seafood dishes. The price runs between approximately $15 $25. Pretty good stuff. There are photos for each items on the menu, so it's not impossible to order without speaking Japanese, but the staff members don't speak English. So it's helpful to go with someone who can speak Japanese.
I liked the food, it's affordable . The portion size is pretty good. It's run by local sea port . Seafood are fresh and taste good. They have seasonal speciality. Couldn't find English menu, I used Google to translate. Parking available. It's open 5.30 pm on weekdays and 6.00pm on weekends.
I went to this restaurant because I heard it was famous. It wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. It is a restaurant that comes with a lot of food with cheaper prices. It was a good experience but I probably wouldn’t go back. It was a big restaurant and I felt like all the food was premade aside from the raw fish. However, compared to the Tsukiji or Toyosu market, it is cheaper and they give you a lot of food.
Love this place! I always enjoy fresh and reasonable raw fish
