Svinvik Gard - Kvanne

We visited Svinvik Gård in October to try out their set dinner menu. Our expectations were high due to the great reviews, and they were definitely met. Each dish was presented with detailed information on the ingredients and where they came from, with most sourced from local farms in the area. The food was outstanding, and paired perfectly with the wine selection from the package. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem, and although it may be a bit of a challenge to get to, it is well worth it. We highly recommend that Guide Michelin pays a visit, as we believe they would not be disappointed!

We were a group of 14 people who enjoyed an 8-course dinner at this restaurant, and it was an incredible experience. Despite the multiple courses, the dishes varied in size, providing just the right amount of food for a satisfying meal. While the restaurant may seem expensive, the quality of the food more than justifies the price. The locally sourced ingredients contribute to an exciting and excellent theme. The atmosphere, location, and service were all fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant for both small and large groups, as well as for various occasions. Overall, one of my best dining experiences.

Fantastic experience. Nine-course menu of exquisite ingredients mostly from local producers. the kitchen was great. the host was all the time.

Absolutely fantastic, some of the better in the county.
