burgers were great, and the sweet kartoffel fries perhaps best I had ever! amazing baked goods also, fresh and tasty! great outsight and a funny little playground (game kiosk) for children. the buffet tries several times and it is also above average, although I would recommend the burgers over the buffet. all in all a warm recommended stop in vuosnainen! We arrived at the restaurant late, so we missed out on the buffet and instead ordered from the a la carte menu. We chose burgers and chicken wings, which were all delicious. The aioli was particularly outstanding. Although one serving of fries was a bit too salty, overall they were tasty. The staff was very friendly and the views were fantastic, especially watching the ferry Viggen loading and unloading passengers. Dogs are allowed on the terrace and there was even a bowl of water available for them.
The restaurant serves delicious food, with the seafood being particularly tasty. However, the service was poor and the pricing of the food was outrageously high. Customers must select their food from a buffet, but items like fish, meat, and vegetables are priced differently per kilogram. This means that you could end up paying a higher price if you have a mixture of items on your plate. Additionally, each plate is weighed and priced individually, making the process cumbersome. The staff was unhelpful in explaining this system, and overall the experience was disappointing. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
This summer's best burger was the Bacon-Blue Cheese, available in both normal and XL sizes, served with regular potatoes and a side of sweet potatoes. We also enjoyed a large beer and a large cider, all for just under 50€.
Healthy and delicious salad buffet that also offers vegan protein options. The buffet operates on a 'pay by weight' policy.
Excellent location with the ferry harbor conveniently located next door. If you're traveling to Åland, this is the perfect spot to take a break.
