On the outskirts of Springvale Central (close to Woolies) is this bakery with a small shop front, one of the last ones I have to review to complete my banh mi hit list of Springvale. I saw that they had similar BBQ pork to Bun Bun Bakery so decided to give that a go. Let me tell you, it was on par with the slightest of differences. The addition of grilled onions and fried shallots takes it to another level. The bread... View all feedback.
Best bbq pork rolls I’ve ever had! Everyone from our office gets excited when we get porkys for lunch and will go back multiple times a week. Lovely staff as well
Thanks for the dessert!<br/ <br/ Regular customer for custurd profiteroles.<br/ <br/ At 1 dollar each these profiteroles are simply the best. This place can be easily missed and as such is a hidden gem in Springvale that deserves more attention. They are even somewhat hidden in the shop and are on the upper shelf on the top left cabinet. Definately if ever having a day trip in Springvale I cannot recommend them enough. Not too sweet, perfectly creamy with a soft but satisfying outer shell bite. My usual combination is a Bunbun banhmi followed by 2 profiteroles here. Ahh the perfect budget lunch!!
Well that was unexpected! I thought the banh mi here would be mediocre as I rarely ever see people in there. It was one of those days I was in a mad rush and really needed to quickly chow down without it being maccas. So grilled chicken roll it was. Didn't look too appealing at first but that first bite was so good. CRUNCH!!! Love a good crispy roll. It was after 2pm so I would forgive if it wasn't too fresh. The meat was marinated well, the pate tasty, pickled carrots were perfectly crunchy and the bbq hoisin sauce lifted the flavour even more. I like fried shallots but I didn't think it needed it here. My only critique was the added salt, became a little too salty. Easy fix. $5 later and I'm certain I'll be back for another if I'm in the area.

Give this small shop a go and make your own comparisons!
