Selene's Chocolate - Kurunjang

Great hot chocolate, lots of hot drinks to choose from on the menu and a great, elegant vibe.

I have quite a specific order (I.e weak skinny dark chocolate with extra foam) and the lovely ladies behind the counter always obliged with such nice smiles! They do their drinks so well and you can tell the management value staff to know how to properly use the coffee machines. Best tasting hot chocolate in Melbourne! Way better than kokoblack! It can be on the sweeter side tho, so I alway ask for mine as weak and it’s perfect. Great quality chocolate and amazing staff!

So caffeine has been my friend over the past few weeks of CPA study and today I revisited Selene’s Chocolate to to discover that a bit of competition really does wonders. The coffee standards just keep going up and up and service seemed a little more friendly too. Our lattes were well made and strong without the need for an extra shot (although Kellie got one in her almond latte). I was also satisfied with the milk heat which was in the upper range and gave me a hot coffee which I prefer.<br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ Previous Review<br/ Popped into Selene's to grab a coffee on the way to the train. Seems in the lead up into Christmas my coffee intake has gone through the roof. They have a huge range of cakes, muffins, waffles, macarons, and Belgium chocolate. My skinny latte was very well extracted without a bitterness but with intensity. I found my skinny milk quite sweet and wondered if I was long life(but surely not). KD ordered an almond milk latte which she really enjoyed. they have a credit card surcharge which is a downer.
