It's tiny, so get ready to get cosy with your neighbours. But the atmosphere is welcoming and the service is friendly and attentive. Kids and dogs are welcome, the food is well above average for breakfast fare, and the prices are reasonable for the area. Feels a bit like dropping into a friend's place for a feed. Popped in at No.84 for the first time for a latte and light lunch on a chilly and blustery day. Welcomed heartily by Agi and given a superb, chocolaty latte. I drink a lot of coffee and this one really stood out as delicious! Ordered the chicken salad which took just five minutes to be served. The dukkah encrusted chicken and the cracked wheat salad made a perfect healthy lunch. Friendly environment in this tastefully decorated cafe space, protected from the cold but light and comfortable at the large front window looking out across Bridport st. Highly recommended.
The coffee is your average brew and they tend to charge a bit more but that's just the area. The egg and banana roll is actually pretty good value given the size.
4.5 5<br On an extremely rainy and windy day all one wants is to travel to the closest possible place , but have tried almost everything and anything around, in St Kilda, we tried searching and ended-up here.<br <br Beautiful Ambience filled with plants in every nook and corner is such a change from the lacklustre dull weather outside. To add to that, the staff is wonderful.<br <br Ordered a Piccolo and Hot Chocolate before we could decide what to order.<br <br Omg, one among the best coffees had in Melbourne. The balance of flavors and perfect temperature. Same could be spoken for Hot Chocolate. It was yum.<br <br Waffle Royale, Open Steak Sandwich and aSalad with addition of Chicken<br <br Honestly and Sincerely, all of them were the dishes of the Day. Nothing on any plate was worth complaining. Dressings, meat, overall taste was so damn good.<br <br We also took a parcel of Mango And Blueberry Muffins together with a slice of Bread Pudding.<br <br Bread Pudding was decent but disappointment were the Muffins. No texture,no flavor, absolutely dry with just a piece or two of Mangoes or Berries.<br <br Vegans and Vegetarians have a decent choice to choose from.<br <br Portion are quite good and the prices are proportionate to the quality.<br <br Definitely recommend.<br <br

I've been to No.84 at least five times and have never been disappointed. Their coffee is always amazing and made promptly, which is great when I'm rushing to work and only have a few minutes to spare. If you can stay, however, this spot is a great one to sit and read or work.
