Ordered the beef noodle soup (no 1) and tom yum noodle soup (no 4) for lunch. Only $9 per bowl which was super cheap. You also get to choose what type of noodle you want, there's 4 options ranging from thin to thick noodle. The tom yum was pretty spicy, but both noodle soups tasted really nice, probably one of the better flavours I've tasted. Portion size is ok for a girl, but may not be enough for guys. Would come b... Me Dee is a stalwart in Chinatown, well-known and well-loved for its affordable and delicious Thai cuisine. The Pad Thai and the Boat Noodles are extremely popular here, as are the curries and the rice dishes. Flavours are bold and punchy, and perfectly showcase the combination of sweet, zesty, spicy and savoury flavours that Thai cuisine is so famous for. <br/ <br/ And if you didn’t know, they also specialised in Thai desserts. Some common ones that you can get from the Asian groceries, some not so common ones that will delight your taste buds. Amazing in taste and execution, definitely worth checking out.
My score 4.0 stars. J got takeaway from here on Wed 15th Jan. Service was lovely, food tasty, good value for money. We shared:<br/ <br/ Kaow prig kang $12) – Fried egg, rice, nice tofu, green beans and chilli. Good!<br/ <br/ Chicken satay $8) – 4 skewers plus spicy peanut sauce. Not an expert on these anymore, but they were the best ones inc sauce) I have had in I don’t know how long…<br/ <br/ Vego panang curry $12) – Lots of nice tofu, plus some carrot and plenty of rice which had a hard boiled egg with it). Good spicy curry sauce. Only criticism would be it could do with a bit more veg but it was generous with the tofu – so swings and roundabouts).
Paramount Food Court is a little bit of a hidden treasure trove of Thai street eats.<br/ <br/ Stopped at Me Dee for their boat noodles.<br/ <br/ It’s typically a small serving. The broth is sweet, aniseedy, rich and iron-ey. <br/ <br/ The slivers of pork and liver are tasty, and the noodles have a perfect bite to it.<br/ <br/ Pretty satisfying and at a good price point too.

Needed to make a fast choice, as we were in the area with a starving toddler and needed to get something that he’d want to eat (and us too! happy we made the right choice here. We got a massamun curry and a pad see ew. Both were very good examples of the dish maybe not mind blowing, but a great value lunch option. Cash only though, and a bit tricky to get to when the line for the place next to it blows out.
