Today, I had the opportunity to eat at Fonda Mexican, in Collingwood and it has been a unique experience, from the service to the food, the staff is very friendly and they make you feel very special, it really is a place I would return to without hesitation. 5 stars View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Fonda Mexican Collingwood:
We’ve ordered from Fonda before and got/get the Vegan Nachos and Vegan burrito bowl. This time, they didn’t inform us that they were out of sour cream and replaced it with jalapeños which we didn’t want, and then in the burrito bowl there was about 2 teaspoons of rice. It’s very hit or miss as sometimes it’s been good and other times it’s lacked ingredients. View all feedback.
The burritos are really yummy here. Ordered the grilled chicken with baby spinach, pickled carrot and onion, charred sweet corn, chipotle aioli, quinoa and black beans. The charred sweet corn was like bits of nacho in the burrito which made it really tasty.
Really enjoyed everything about Fonda! From the minute you enter, you are greeted with friendly staff. I love the colours used in the space as it creates an inviting and fun vibe.The tortilla chips with guacamole is a must! The corn is delicious but it took me a while to get use to the burst of flavour on the corn.We tried the quesadillas and really enjoyed. I would love to come back and try the rest of the flavours.The fish taco is also a must have! Love the feeling of being full but not overly full. Will definitely be back!
Nice food, friendly staff, would definitely come here again. Tuna ceviche was great! Also good location with lots of interesting street life to observe
Fresh modern take on Mexican food. Great interior. It was packed with locals on a Tuesday night. I love their soft tacos they are so tasty with fresh ingredients and packed with flavour. Also love the grilled corn both served with beer, gotta say, I'm kinda Fonda of this place.
I always go to Fonda when I'm craving delicious Mexican food! I adore their menu, and the horchata is simply amazing—I could drink it all day. The tacos are fantastic, bursting with flavor, and they're the perfect size. This time, we tried the corn on the cob, which had a lovely spicy kick and melted cheese. The restaurant's corner location is ideal, and it's always bustling with customers! The service is outstanding; the staff is really friendly and helpful!
