Points for: drink specials, location, open space on upper level<br/ <br/ Diesel hasn't been around for too long, and it's easy to miss but it's quickly picking up in popularity.<br/ Probably due to the really good happy hour specials from 4PM, you can get basics from $6. I actually like the house red, it's quite smooth and drinkable.<br/ Head upstairs and you'll find a massive open space with plenty of booths and standing tables around.<br/ In the far corner is also a dance floor, so on Fri Sat nights, it can get clubby after 9PM.<br/ Staff are always helpful, friendly and attentive.<br/ Great central location, it's no wonder people keep coming back!

I've been here for a few events upstairs and a casual wine downstairs. Diesel is a nice place to have an afterwork or late night drink. It feels like a large speakeasy. Dark and moody. I haven't eaten anything substantial here but you can see the chefs in action doing their thing.

If you are in the city but want to feel like you are in New York visit Diesel bar and eatery for your Manhattan fix. Today we had the Little Lon which is a delicious blend of elderflower liqueur, fresh grapefruit juice, ketel one and rosemary and espresso martini.We loved the decor, comfy seating and free prawn crackers. The plan is to work our way through the cocktail list as well as the menu, what a great summer it will be!

Good food, very cool atmosphere and fantastic service. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Great selection of alcohol. Very comfy chairs. Hooks at the bar for bags/coats always a plus.
