Anthropology is the branch of science that studies humans, human behaviours and societies in the past and present! And today I certainly decided to that it was about time to grab pen aka a spoon and with the help of a very professional note book a car , I went to study the situation and the people at Anthropology Co oh wait, I mean the food View all feedback.
One of the more unique brunch places we have been to, expect some fresh, good quality and wholesome light food at Anthropology Speciality Coffee and Concept store.<br/ <br/ We ordered today a hazelnut hot chocolate which tasted like Nutella, as well as a dirty chai which had a nice chai kick to it- a little more impacting than others which is a good thing. We also opted for the chilli scramble and the avo smash with two (2) poached eggs.<br/ <br/ Chilli scramble was good, with the chorizos stealing the show. The avocado smash was one of the best avocados we've had whilst the mushrooms and beetroot smear was a good touch.<br/ <br/ To describe this food it would be one word- clean. You don't feel heavy after eating it, and it has naturally rich ingredients that hit the spot. Good brunch in our books!<br/ <br/ Food: 4/5<br/ Service: 3.5/5<br/ Ambience: 4/5<br/ Value: 4/5<br/ <br/ Overall: 4/5
Was attracted by the photos, rating, and creative menu. Did not disappoint at all! To top it off, the owner is super friendly and attentive. Totally deserve a visit if you are around the area or looking something a bit different.

We wanted to try to Shakshuka after reading the positive reviews here and it 's something we haven 't had before. We came all the way out here to try this dish but was told it is no longer on the menu because they now have a new chef. Also, they don 't serve pork here but not sure if they are certified 'Halal '. This cafe has very interesting menu with funny descriptions to describe the food which is quite amusing. Food options and seating are very limited in this tiny cafe. We had the vegan jackfruit sandwich that supposedly to taste like pulled pork, maple beef bacon and egg sandwich, long black and the pina colada smoothies. All the food taste yummy and service was very friendly and on point. The staff also offered to play our choice of music!
We had an absolutely amazing experience at Anthropology : First of all the décor is just beautiful. Love the WHITE beautiful GREEN plants all over the place. <br/ <br/ The team is SO lovely and friendly. So warm and welcoming and very knowledgeable about the menu too. <br/ <br/ I was impressed to see many vegan options, including CHOCOLATE WAFFLES which we DEF ordered. They were absolutely scrumptious. I also tried the PULLED JACKFRUIT SANGA which was so juicy and delish! Oh plus, we tried a raw vegan snickers dessert which was to die for, seriously. The coffee was great too with Oatly oat milk.<br/ <br/ You really need to visit this café! Even though it is not so close to where I live I will definitely be back! Thanks team!
