Great service, food and very reasonable prices. Don't seem to get too many customers which is a shame because they're great! Tried the Muqlaba and Galaya and both were excellent View all feedback.

We had dinner here for 2 persons. We ordered the beef kebabs, mandi chicken and fatoush salad. The food was delicious and came in generous portions. They also provided complimentary tea at the end. It worked out to 20 dinars for the meal. Service was very friendly. Definitely recommend if you’re around the area.
Fantastic local food. The baked chicken tomatoes dish and lamb was so delicious. Best Lentil soup I had along Egypt and Jordan. Highly recommend it. They also have wonderful flavoured tabouli with Couscous in it. A must try
Finally I got to try this well-known Jordanian dish, “Mansaf”. Without a doubt, this big chunk of lamb was buttery and savory. That fluffy rice went really well with the meat and yogurt. However, the smell was quite pungent, took me a second to get used to it.
Out of all of the restaurants we tried in Petra Jordan, Zawaya was the best!!! So authentic, fresh ingredients, and felt home cooked.. a must try when in Jordan! You will not regret. The service was amazing and they made us feel like we were family.
