The PumpHouse Restaurant + Bar

We had a couple of sunset drinks and some Belgian fries and we should have left it at that. Nice place, good atmosphere, friendly staff. However, we decided to order a couple of entrees for dinner (we have a small appetite), and they were very disappointing. We had the softshell crab and the pan fried scallops. For almost AU$20 each we got three scallops and could not find the crab in its batter. The main ingredient with the scallops was corn from a can, and the main ingredient with the crab was onion. There wasn't much on the plates at all, and even though they were only entrees, we had expected more for the price. Probably wouldn't go back to eat, but nice place for drinks. The options in Kununurra are quite limited, so it's worth a try. Maybe the mains are better...

Quirky place on the river, very original. We sat outside which provided us with a lovely cool breeze coming off the lake, very enjoyable. Will definitely return.

Average dinner, service was good and friendly over priced for what you get, lovely view over lake Kununurra and the venue inside the old pump house is very interesting

Great dinner awesome view.As the sun went down 1000's of bats flew over -great photo opportunities and a couple of tour boats went past creating ripples in the sunset scene. My friends took all the photos so I have none to share but highly recommend you have a sunset dinner time.
