Doon Doon Roadhouse - KUNUNURRA

Well the best burgers anywhere really. So yummy, these guys know how to cook the best burgers, made with so much love. Can't wait to visit on the return trip.

When we arrived staff were going through what is obviously their daily cleaning routine. Nothing was left to chance. Very thorough.Food was excellent and enjoyable.Not often that you visit a place that lives up to the claims made on its website, but Doon Doon does.Obviously well run by caring management and staff. We would go back.

Stopped in for a night in van Park. Free for non-powered site. Just be aware, bathroom closes from 8pm thru 6am. Food in roadhouse is fabulous prepared by professional chef. Try the Barra burger - excellent.

We stopped at this roadhouse for something to eat and were pleasantly surprised. Considering it's miles from nowhere, the roadhouse was clean and the service was prompt and friendly and the home made chicken soup was pretty good. The biggest surprise was how clean the toilets were. When I expressed my appreciation, I was told by the owner that they get cleaned several times a day as weary travellers are grateful for clean amenities.

Don't blink or you'll miss it. I did, last week on my way west. Made sure not to miss it on my way home though. So glad I pulled in here. And you will be too
