What User doesn't like about Bamboo Temple Vegetarian:
The restaurant had a beautiful garden area. Even though the staff didn't speak English, there was an English menu available. The menu had some expensive dishes and tea but we opted for the tofu and eggplant dishes, which were only around RMB 15 each. The dishes were quite oily and we were surprised by the additional charge of RMB 10 for rice, not mentioned on the menu. Overall, it wasn't the best meal but it was dece... View all feedback. bamboo tempel is a beautiful, small and very quiet tempel, ideal for a relaxed afternoon. I was not in the actual restaurant, but the two paintings I went there, I asked for food and they brought me where the monks go to eat. they pay 5 or 10kuai (not remember) and they give them a teller with rice and various types of sweet, kartoffels, etc. very simple meal but good and they can eat outside on the stones. for the r...
