We are from out of town and stumbled upon this place after spending a day outside snow tubing. The small town family atmosphere hits you when you walk in. It's a refreshing change from all the chain restaurants and trendy new foodie spots back home. We ordered Wings, breaded mushrooms, ribs, and a chicken parm sub. All were great! I definitely recommend getting the hot honey garlic sauce. The portions were huge, but... View all feedback.
Finally drove the 8 short miles to the Kunkletown Pub to use my restaurant.com certificate. The old farm house sits off Kunkletown Road, spacious interior decorated with eclectic wood furniture and chandeliers all add to charm. We started with a hand battered mushroom x 4 $8) appetizer, 2 seafood combos $22) included homemade crab cake, 3 shrimp 3 scallops with stuffed baked potato and asparagus. French onion soup $3), chicken bowtie minestrone $3) and 2 side salads of Romaine, hard boiled egg, red onion, cherry tomatoes, croutons and topped with homemade HOT bacon dressing. $3) Yum! The star of the kitchen is Gretchen, the chef/owner who prepped and prepared each course, lovingly. The star of the dining room was Sherry whose service was on point, efficient and helpful. Nice to know that this eatery offers a complimentary adult beverage no liquor license) and a musician was setting up to play 6 pm in the area near the bar. Well definitely visit again to try the Prime Rib dinner!
