James Brooke Bistro Cafe - Kuching

I have been to this restaurant twice and both times the food was delicious. The atmosphere is very relaxing with quirky furniture and soft music playing. If you sit near the entrance, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the river and the fountain light show at night in the distance. It is also one of the few places in town that serves beer, as many other local restaurants are alcohol-free. I highly recommend it.

I recently tried Sarawak Laksa for the first time and it was delicious. The potato wedges and sweet potato wedges were also very tasty and well seasoned. Although there was a slight delay in our food being served, it was understandable as we were a group of 10 people and the staff may not have been prepared for us. Overall, the food was great and the service was friendly.

This stylish bistro is located in a charming garden by the river. They offer a great variety of local and international dishes. I highly recommend trying the Sarawak Laksa, which was not only delicious but also a great deal at RM18.

I have eaten here many times and it was always excellent. If you are looking for restaurant quality food at very good prices in THE best place on the water in Kuching, then this is the place for you.

The place is very nice with a beautiful view. We had the family grilled chicken. This was very good! The other dish was the buttered chicken which was nice but nothing special. Both of us had a juice and we spent about 73 MYR in total. So its a little expensive. They didn't serve both dishes together (the buttered chicken came about 10 minutes earlier). In my opinion this should not happen cause we'd like to eat together.
