Good half Chinese restaurant. I usually have my torments about pork-free Chinese cuisine, but the food served here was good independent. The service was attentive, though somewhat slow (maybe because we made reservations last minute). Preferred the set... the roast duck was really crispy and the white Sultan fish was also delicious... What John Samsul doesn't like about Tao Chinese Cuisine:
Had dim sum buffet here. The dim sum was rather bland and the dishes weren't amazing too. Thank god we ordered London Duck, it did cheer us up a little. Improvement much needed. View all feedback.
Good restaurant at the ground floor, quality and fresh ingredients with good mood and settings. The waiting system can be improved further because as it is, it's quite difficult to call on waiters. Perhaps have them stationed at each section. During my visit, staff was very professional, but too professional perhaps. They didn't smile even when I made a joke. But they definitely hand out tips recommendations when ordering, something hard to come by in Malaysia. Again, food is superb! I feel the food is fairly priced given the quality of the ingredients.
New Eve Dinner Set Yu Sang taste is bad Prawns not fresh Chicken over cook meat already stiff Vegetables still ok Only Fish taste is good and fresh.
I had been to this restaurant on Wednesday night, however, I got a very bad experience. Me and my family had took the buffet dinner, however, the food quality were worst. The prawn and fish were not fresh, even the prawn have no taste of prawn, the sauce for it were inedible. the fish (sichuan boiled fish) was very stingy and fishy. the stir fried beef we order was super chewy, can't even bite it into pieces. We had decide to return every single plate of the food to the kitchen. It is super disappointed, a restaurant in a 5 stars hotel shouldn't have this sort of quality for their food. We have reflect our complaint to a female service staff there, however, it seems our reflections are not taken seriously. she told us the fish being stingy and fishy is normal, and there isn't any other customer said the same thing as us. I felt grossly fooled and disrespected, she seemed to think we had never eaten fancy food and should be so perfunctory. Anyway, one of a young male staff there was nice. I know he did his best and have no authority to do much. Thanks for your warm service. This is my first time here, and definitely my last time.

We went for the all you can eat dim sum lunch menu around noon on Tuesday. It came to about 124 MYR per person after tax and tea (around S$35 sgd) very good value! Food selection was very good, though they have less dim sum than we expected but more traditional Chinese dishes than we expected. The service was also very good. We liked the truffle prawn dumplings and the mushroom buns. San Bei Ji was good. Desserts were good. Pretty much didn’t like anything (beef was kinda normal that’s all).
