Komura Japanese - Kuala Lumpur

The place is arranged like a small Japanese where each table is a private room. Sashimi is quite fresh. I don't quite like the rainbow maki due to the mayo inside. Unagi is also good although it's from a Taiwanese source.

A-la-carte style buffet. 5 of us reserved the bigger room and it was nice for a small celebration/party. The novelty Japanese room setting is definitely the main attraction, you'll get to take some good photos. The food was good and decent, portion is small but you can keep ordering. The delivery was slow at first but got better later. Service was good. The place needs more advertising, it's good for what you paid!

Interior is 100% with private room setting that feel very Japanese. Food quality was mediocre judging from the dinner buffet price RM118 pp. Tea was served automatically but charged separately, was fine. The sashimi(tuna, salmon and butterfish) is not fresh, smelled very fishy that we couldn't finish. Limited choices of food is available, the grilled food and teppanyaki was also just so-so. Prawn tempura and garlic rice was really good, and I love that green tea ice cream with red bean.

It was a disappointment dinner experience. With numerous Best Award Restaurant it achieved but the service was slow and food arrived very long after we requested so many times. The sashimi not fresh because its meat frozen and fishy smell. The portion its so small even my kids also said not enough. There were few guests requested for more foods but to my surprise they said kitchen closed and they will served whatever the restaurant has.

Love this restaurant! It feels like you're back in Japan! The service is perfect and the staff are very friendly. Order the next round halfway to your current round so you don't have to wait. The food doesn't take long. The food is also of high quality and we were so happy to leave with our cumin filled to the edge (and maybe a little more)!
