Brilliant nasi lemak is delicious. Fast serving and can make combination nasi lemak. But the price is different for combination. I will come again if go KL. Recomended View all feedback.
A good comfort place to have chinese style Nasi Lemak. I like the curry chicken, fried chicken sotong. Sambal is nice unlike other place, they give additional sambal for free. Sambal is full of onion which I like. The lady boss was very friendly helpful when she knew it’s my first visit to the restaurant. The drinks there are good not so sweet. Restaurant are crowded during lunch time. Full house people are q up.
I met up with my sister in law and brother in law from Ben’s side of family. We went to Brilliant Nasi Lemak House in Kepong for dinner. My sister in law and brother in law had the Rendang Chicken Nasi Lemak. I had the Rendang Pork Nasi Lemak as this is not so common. The nasi lemak is RM9.

Normally the restaurant name makes no sense, but for this place it does, the nasi lemak (A Malaysian must have, its like burgers for Americans, its out staple) was brilliant, and I mean it. It was tasty, the portion was just right and the price? Can someone say seriously a good deal, RM 12.80 for a 2 combo. I know everyone in KL brags about village park nasi lemak in damansara uptown, I for one am a rebel, and I think I prefer this place for its fresh, tasty and delicious nasi lemak, and fast and efficient service too, I got in and out of there in 20 minutes, including eating time. It is however a CASH ONLY establishment. For muslims this place is non halal there is pork rendang offered.<br/ <br/ Lets start with the rice, it was fluffy, perfectly moist and a creamy (from the coconut milk), I for one enjoyed it, and thought it perfectly balanced the whole plate. Now I have to admit, the nasi lemak although excellent was more Malaysian Chinese preference of Nasi Lemak, and not so much the traditional Malay texture or taste of cooking it. But the sambal was on point, it was spicy, slightly oily, but with the perfect equilibrium of salty, sweet, sour and spicy. I had the Nasi Lemak with 2 combinations, and I choose the fried chicken leg and the prawn sambal. <br/ <br/ The fried quarter chicken leg was lightly battered and fried to golden perfection. Crispy on the outside, nice and juicy chicken on the inside, it was well seasoned too. While the sambal prawns has a really sweet, sour, salty and spicy taste, but less spicy in comparison to the plain sambal, yet very flavorful from the use of the peeled shrimp. I like their portion, I had a generous 3 large pieces of shrimp and a quarter leg of chicken. Not forget to mention the plate also comes with half a boiled egg, and condiments of cucumber, roasted peanuts and fried anchovies, typical condiments with the traditional nasi lemak. <br/ <br/ Other than nasi lemak, this place also has chicken rice, pan mee, kopitiam style toasted bread and eggs, Chinese snacks (fried tofu, dish cakes, curry puff, tapioca rings) , noodle soups, wantan mee and other small dishes. The star of this place is of course their nasi lemak. <br/ <br/ Parking is a challenge, because its on a strip shop house with limited street parking, try parking at AEON Big close by and walking here (2 3 min walk). Opening hours are Weekday: 10am 9pm, Weekend: 9am 9pm. Its located close to sushi mentai, sushi 360. The place is crowded, and finding a seat can be a challenge, but don't worry, service is fast here, so people will get out early and fast too.
