Schuetzenhaus - Kröv

We pre-booked this restaurant for my husband's 40th birthday when we were on holiday in the area. When we first arrived we were blown away by the view! It is stunning and our table was right by the fence outside so we were happy. We ordered our food, starters and main courses but an hour went by and we still only had our drinks... we kept asking where our food was and were told it's coming. After 80mins our main courses turned up and the waitress was surprised that we had not had our starters yet. By then were really annoyed as it was clear our order hadn't even got to the kitchen and they only started cooking it when we asked after it. The food was fine but the waiting ruined the whole lunch and we left as soon as we'd eaten. I'm sure this was a one off and we got unlucky but it was a shame that it was a special occasion.

Cafe op een hele mooie locatie. we kwamen om 17uur55 aan. he were nog veel mensen op het terras. mij bed verteld dat ze om precies 18 uur sluiten. we kregen geen consumptie meer.

A restaurant is no better located, with a breathtaking view of the city of Bernkastel-Kues and its vineyards. We were greeted in a very warm way as we arrived at the noon fire. enormment of the world, many reserved tables but we were still invited to install at a table reserved for the beginning of the afternoon. a very positive point when you know that most of the time, when a table is reserved no matter what time, it is reserved bar. at the level of service, also nothing to say, very smiling and very smiling waitress, dishes served quickly despite the present world. concerning the cleanliness of the restaurant, despite the present world and waitresses running everywhere, it was very clean. small peculiarity, the toilets are located outside the restaurant in a small annexed building but there too, no cleanliness. For the dish, I decided to take a pane with pepper sauce. portions are very generous, as often in German. It was accompanied by fries and a small salad, which was largely enough to see the size of the scalope. However, a small flat on the sauce. When I'm served with a pane of pepper sauce, I'm expecting to receive a nice scalope that bathes in the sauce, and in that specific case, I can only be disappointed with the serving of sauce that accompanied the scalope. It was clearly not enough for the whole meat and that is why I take a point off my note. However, I can only recommend this restaurant for its setting and reception.
