Thon - Kristiansund

This hotel is amazing and offers great value for money. The staff are very nice, friendly, and extremely helpful. The view is fantastic, the rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and there is always hot water available for those who enjoy a hot shower. Additionally, this place provides free parking, which is a definite bonus.

We stayed in a superior room for a night at the hotel. The room and breakfast were wonderful, but unfortunately, the shower was clogged and there was no hot water after 10 o'clock, so we were unable to shower. We were not compensated for this inconvenience. If these issues were addressed, we would have rated the hotel 4 stars. Additionally, the elevator felt unsafe as the doors closed on people.

There are two Thon Hotels in Kristiansund, and this one is located on the island at 12 Fiskergata Street. The distance to the city center is approximately 1.7km (a 20-minute walk), and guests must cross a bridge to get there. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and the breakfast is delicious. However, the insulation between some of the rooms is not great, so noise from other guests can be heard. The staff is very polite and helpful, and they can arrange for a taxi if requested.

An essential function of the hotel room was not cleaned. It was so dirty that it was not hygienic. This was a repeated case.
