Luckily, 2 people were... read more We were here today for Christmas and were very disappointed. We had a reservation for 9 people and were supposed to eat at a table for 7. Luckily, 2 people were allowed to sit at the next table. Rosenthal's behavior was unacceptable. The pasta, which cost over 30 euros, was oversalted, and the roast pork was lukewarm. The service was very friendly, and the goulash was delicious. The kicker was that we couldn't pay separately, only together. We've never experienced anything like it. We won't be driving from Munich to eat there again.

The waiter was very friendly and treated his guests like guests. We felt very comfortable. The price-performance ratio was good. Whenever we're at Lake Tegernsee, we'll eat there at least once. The rooms are lovely and have superb acoustics; even when it gets crowded, you can easily hear yourself speak. The food is undoubtedly high quality, and the service is helpful and attentive, fulfilling every request. Highly recommended, especially if you want to avoid the tourist crowds up by the lake. A very heartfelt recommendation!
