Pablo Münster

Tried Pablo's again for a coffee and cake during a two day visit to Münster. Pablo's is situated inside the Arkaden shopping center, next to the Picasso museum. While there was nothing wrong with the coffee and cake, the less then hospitable staff left again a feeling of disappointment. A three point rating.

Pablo Restaurant is an attractive place to sit down inside the Arkaden shopping center. The sit-down area is in front of the entrance of the Pablo Picasso museum. Prices of the food and drinks are moderate; here you can rest the legs and look at the life inside Arkaden. But Picasso is let down by the staff. Service is surly and indifferent, the staff member acted unwelcoming and unhospitable. And to put the lid on it, when I paid the bill, he tried to short-change me for 10 Euros. Deliberate or not, it was at least unprofessional. Therefore a two points rating.

A Picasso museum (culture), varied menu with special offers (food), variety of beverages, inside of a shopping mall (retail therapy), in the city centre (location) and all at a very reasonable price. A fantastic spot for lunch or try the equally good dining facility 3 meters away!

... was man gemeinhin "wirtschaftsgeographischen Standort" nennt. Direkt neben dem Picasso-Museum in den Münster-Arkaden ist der Service zwar gut, der Caesar-Salat mit Hähnchenbrust für einen kleinen Aufpreis durchaus genießbar, mehr aber eben auch nicht. Sauce der Currywurst mittelmäßig, Service eigentlich gut, manchmal etwas langsam. Im Großen und Ganzen ok für eine Pause vom Shoppen.

Die Frühstücke sind mit frischen Zutaten sehr liebevoll hergestellt und in der Präsentation eine Augenweide! Hervorragend und in Münster ganz weit vorne! Wir kommen wieder nachdem wir in zahlreichen anderen Cafe´s/Bistros eher enttäuscht waren.
